Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advises the French State on the acquisition of Renault shares

Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised the French State on the acquisition of 14 million shares of Renault representing 4.73% of its share capital for a price of between 814 and 1,232 million euros. The transaction allows the State to increase its stake in Renault from 15% to 19.7% of the share capital.

The State also acquired fixed price put options and sold fixed price call options, respectively on 14 million Renault shares, for a period of six months.

The DVMB team was composed of Marcus Billam, Bertrand Cardi, Jean-Baptiste de Martigny and Laurent Gautier in M&A and capital markets.
